Since 2007, the CrossFit Games have been where the most elite competitors in the sport battle it out against one another—and against the cruel and unusual imagination of CrossFit leadership—to see who the most fit man and woman on the planet are.
Just nine months after a delayed, partially online event in 2020, hundreds of athletes return to Madison, Wisconsin. The open class individual men's champ of the last five years, Mat Fraser, retired from competitive CrossFit in February, leaving a wide-open throne for the taking. The equally dominant 2020 women's champ, Tia-Clair Toomey, will return to defend her title. This year also sees the arrival of Adaptive CrossFit, allowing a new class of athlete to compete at the sport's highest level. Follow the action and read our preview and predictions here!
